Should we have drug testing in golf?
Gary Player claims that some players are taking performance enhancing drugs. Personally I dont think it's necessary. The fear of being labelled a cheat and dishonouring the integrity of the game should be a bigger deterrent than drug testing. Let's hope the game will always maintain it's outstanding reputation of honour and decency.

It is an unfortunate fact of life that sportsmen and women are going to have their integrity questioned no matter what the sport. You only have to look at the Olympic games and the Tour de France to see that performance enhancing drugs are creeping into sports that most of us believed to be sqeaky clean.

The only way of really finding out a man's true character is to play golf with him.
