With Mountains on three sides as a backdrop and the coastline in front, Penmaenmawr Golf course is as challenging in Golf as it is stimulating in scenic beauty,
The view from the sixth tee is one of the great sights of the golfing world, with the Great Orme rising out of the sea by Llandudno, together with a view of Puffin Island and Anglesey across the Menai Straits.
Established in 1910, the Golf Club is renowned for its friendly atmosphere, a worthy finalist in the national 'Clubhouse Community Club of the Year' in 2007, and is proud of its busy and varied social diary.
"I recall the game with great fondness and also the warmth and friendly welcome we received, I was most impressed by the club spirit and picturesque surroundings." If Peter Allis were to visit again today, his words would still ring true; such are the enduring qualities of Penmaenmawr Golf Club - challenging, stimulating, friendly and memorable.
